Mother of Peace (Mutoko) Projects
The children and workers at MOPC Mutoko engage in a variety of projects mainly farm produce for self-reliance. MOPC needs substantial support to meet the running costs while it builds up its Income Generating Activities.

Below are some examples of current projects.

Family Re-integration
One of the key activities of MOPC is to identify and support families in the local area (mainly targeted from the children's extended families) to foster orphaned children who are brought to the doors of MOPC.

Farming
Besides their efforts to be self-sustaining through their farming activity, the farming project is also designed to improve livelihoods through small scale agriculture and infrastructural development – Community regeneration.

Current Key activity:
Target Beneficiaries: 20 families
Project Cost: US $ 23,320
Start date: April 2010

The donation of a pump by a local parish has increased potential for production of crops.

Clinic
MOPC (Mutoko) has a clinic, which opened in April 2001, consisting of a large treatment room, two eight bedded rooms, bathrooms and showers. The clinic benefits from the fact that Jean and Stella Cornneck, Zimbabwean sisters, are both qualified nurses, trained as nurses in the U.K and with years of experience both in Zimbabwe and the Uk.

Education and employability skills projects
Various projects have been set up to provides necessary training for children at pre-school level and also those who are coming of age and ready to be released into the world. We also seek to create economies of scale by providing training for the local community as a community regeneration project. Current projects include:
Pre-school project - we need toys, writing and drawing materials.
ICT training - we need computers
Garment making - we need sewing machines and fabric

Mother of Peace (UK) projects
The trustees and members of Mother of Peace (UK) are constantly seeking ways to raise money and offer support not only by local fundraising activities but also by organising support visits to Mother of Peace (Mutoko).
