Mother of Peace Community UK was set up as Charity with the prime objective of raising funds to support the orphanage in Mutoko. Despite the generosity of many people who pledge regular sums through Standing Orders we can never be complacent. To ensure we can provide the support for the Child Welfare Department, as promised in a Memorandum of Understanding between MOPC UK and Mutoko, we constantly strive to generate more funds through various activities.

2008 FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES
In 2008 a very well supported Charity Art Auction was held in London – the third such event, with the auctioneer on two occasions being Bill Nighy no less! Various other fund raising activities have also taken place, so many, many thanks to all those who helped for the hard work and everything else that was involved and not least for your invaluable support.
